1. Ownership
AIVA Browser — including its code, design, and the "AIVA" name and mark — is owned by its author(s) at AIVA Freelancia. Making the repository public does not, by itself, transfer or license any rights beyond what's stated here.
2. What you're allowed to do today
- View the source. The repository is public on GitHub.
- Clone and run it locally for your own personal evaluation, following the setup steps in the repository's README.
- File issues or suggestions through GitHub.
3. What you're not licensed to do yet
- Redistribute the software, a fork of it, or a packaged build to others.
- Use it as the basis of a commercial product or service.
- Represent a modified version as official AIVA Browser.
These restrictions exist because no license granting broader reuse rights has been published — not because we've decided against open-sourcing it. A formal license (and an update to this page) is planned; check the FAQ or the GitHub repository for the current status.
4. Third-party components
AIVA Browser is built on open-source components (Electron, FastAPI, MediaPipe, and others) that carry their own licenses. See Open Source Notices for the list.
5. No warranty
The software is provided "as is," with no warranty of any kind. See the Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.
6. Termination
This license (such as it is) ends automatically if you violate it — for example, by redistributing the software without permission.
